Luxury at an affordable price
 
I recently stayed at this hotel, and thought that it was excellent. The room and facilities such as the spa, made it a very comfortable stay - and it was really good value for money. Would certainly stay again.

pity these suites didn't have cooking facilities for young children otherwise they would have been ideal. The concierge in the restaurant couldn't have been more helpful.

Very Good Hotel
 
We stayed at the Carlton Kinsale in April and enjoyed a wonderful stay. The bar & restaurant menu could have been better (particularly the bar menu) but otherwise our stay was great. The reception, bar and cleaning staff were all very friendly and did an excellent job. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay.. enjoyed the whole w/end. Location fantastic .. weather that w/end fantastic ..which helped. Also great venue for a wedding which we are attending. Staff very helpful & friendly. Would definitely recommend to my UK friend when they ask me where to visit & stay in southern Ireland. Thanks again for a lovely weekend.

Very Happy with Staff and Hotel
 
I stayed here with my girlfriend in April and there were a couple of problems but they were sorted so quickly I cannot really complain. There was a problem with the electronics so getting into our room ... took a while but in fairness, it was sorted immediately. I thought the bar was a bit dark and there was no windows overlooking the sea which I thought a bit strange. However, the breakfast was delicious and could be eaten on the balcony outside the restaurant. The room was very comfortable and the shower was perfect. Really lovely and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. ---

I stayed at the Carlton Kinsale Hotel for my friends wedding in April. From the moment I walked into the hotel from the moment I left the staff were so friendly and nice. I was surprised and delighted that my room was ready when I arrived at 8.30am and the room was amazing. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the hotel and I would highly recommend it.

It was a lovely hotel, very quiet and peaceful, food very good as were the staff, great to be able to have a late breakfast!! Rooms were lovely, only draw back was the price of the taxi fare from Kinsale town to the hotel.

Overall enjoyable - staff were excellent & very friendly. No drinking water in bedrooms & to order water from bar was very expensive however - complimentary water would be a nice touch!

Fantastic customer service
 
The staff in the hotel have excellent customer service from reception to the cleaners. Really liked the leisure centre and the courtesy bus to Kinsale. Would of liked music in the bar but there's loads going on in Kinsale.

Lovely hotel
 
Really nice large clean room overlooking the front gardens. The food in the restaurant was fantastic for both dinner and breakfast. The leisure facilities were superb and the pool area was spotless. The ... only bad points were the bar completely lacked atmosphere we came back from the town for a night cap and were sorry we had! Kinsale is about 10 mins in a taxi and it costs about €12 there is a complimentary shuttle but the times never really suited us. All in all a fantastic hotel for sleeping food and leisure evening fun is better sought out in the town. ---
