The Rockpool Bar & Restaurant at the Carlton Hotel Kinsale is situated on the 2nd floor with panoramic views of Oysterhaven Bay. The modern & bright design of the restaurant in this luxurious Kinsale hotel enables guests to relax and enjoy our delicious food, accompanied by a glass of wine from our extensive wine list.
The Rockpool Bar is perfect for an informal bite to eat with friends or for pre-dinner drinks. The Rockpool Bar allows guests to wind down and soak in the atmosphere in intimate surrounding with unspoilt views over Oysterhaven Bay. We specialise in fresh homemade produce, locally sourced and when it comes to cuisine we have big ambitions from our internationally trained chefs.
We offer breakfast every morning from 7.30am to 10.30am, with prices from €15 for a full Irish and Continental breakfast.
We also offer a delicious Brunch Menu from 11 am – 1 pm, Monday – Saturday (only during high season). Dishes start from €7.
Our Taste of Kinsale Gourmet menu starts from €27 for 2 courses and has all locally sourced ingredients and a selection of produce to leave your mouth watering. For the seafood lover, what better way to enjoy fresh, locally caught fish and shellfish than with a nice glass of chilled white wine on our balcony overlooking Oysterhaven bay. Why not try our speciality dish West Cork ‘Skeaghanore’ Duck and so much more we have on offer..
The Rockpool Restaurant is open from 6.00pm to 9.00pm (last orders taken at 8.45pm).
For a lighter option in The Rockpool Bar call in anytime from 12pm to 8pm.
Carvery Lunch is served on Sundays from 12 pm – 3 pm with live Jazz music for your entertainment. Reserve a table in advance to avoid disappointment.
